Nidderdale AONB

Nidderdale, although part of the Yorkshire Dales, is its own special place. It is not part of the National Park, but instead, is a designated AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).

Known for its countryside valleys and rolling hills, with woodland, moorland, charming villages and hamlets. It also has a whole bunch of reservoirs which are lovely to walk around.

Nidderdale is also home to Brimham Rocks, which are 100’s of millions of years old, as well as Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
