South Downs National Park
The South Downs National park is an area of chalk hills located in the southeast of England. It runs through the counties of Hampshire, West Sussex and East Sussex, and is easily accessible from London with train links to different parts of it.
The South Downs Way is a well known long distance walking trail running through it, and one that I’m working on completing.
This is my favourite place to come for a hike as a day trip from London. The endless rolling hills, and with it’s proximity to the south coast of England, you get some gorgeous views to the English Channel….
