Thames Path
The Thames Path is a long distance walking trail, covering 185.2 miles. Yes I know, very specific. It follows the River Thames from the Cotswolds out west, through the England Countryside passing through many rural areas, small villages, and historic towns to reach London, and finishing at Woolwich near the sea.
It’s a gentle, easy trail, and a lot of it can be reached by public transport. I tend to go for a walk along the Thames Path if I don’t want any fuss, and need something light and easy to follow. I would actually consider it my stomping ground, being from London (born and bred), and living right next to it. Right now I’m only familiar with the parts in and just outside London. I do hope to get to parts further west though, and I will update here when I do.
